1.4 million Kenyans are fully vaccinated against Covid-19


Nairobi County is leading in Covid-19 vaccine uptake according to the Ministry of Health. As of 25th October 2021, over one million people had been vaccinated against the virus. Kiambu came second with slightly over 320 thousand people while Nakuru was third with over 190 thousand.


Marsabit had the least number of vaccinated persons standing at slightly above three thousand. Isiolo, Lamu, Wajir and Tana River have so far reported below 6,000 recipients of the vaccines. Turkana County stands at 39/47 with 9,981 persons vaccinated.


In Kenya, a total of 4.9 million people have been vaccinated. 3.5 million have received their first dose while 1.4 million are fully vaccinated. Only 5.3 percent of the adults have been fully vaccinated.
