Only 25,564 people out of the targeted 469,000 adults in Turkana have been vaccinated against Covid-19, according to the Ministry of health. 102 people in the county have received their booster dose.
Today 152 people out of a sample of 5,666 tested in the last 24 hours in Kenya tested positive for coronavirus. The youngest is 1 year while the oldest is 97 years old. The positivity rate in the country stands at 2.8 per cent.
430 patients recovered from the virus today bringing the total recoveries to 293,017.
Unfortunately, two people succumbed to the disease pushing the fatalities to 5,567.
