As Turkana County gears up to host thousands of visitors during the Tobong'u Lore celebrations, only 10,108 of the residents have been vaccinated against the deadly coronavirus. This means that only 2.2 per cent of the targeted 468,878 have received the jab.
According to the Ministry of health, a total of 7.4 million Covid-19 vaccines have been administered to Kenyans.
Today 95 people from a sample of 4,799 tested positive for the virus. The total confirmed cases in the country stand at 255, 355. Cumulatively, 5,335 people have succumbed to the disease.
